This year’s iconic real estate industry event will include a world-class culinary experience by Chefs Daniel Boulud, Michael Anthony, JJ Johnson and Chris Stark

NEW YORK, NY –The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), New York City’s leading real estate trade association, today announced that its upcoming annual event will be bringing on more of New York City’s top chefs to participate in the night’s world-class culinary experience.

Taking place on April 20th at The Glasshouse, this year's event will include both a seated dinner, featuring a spotlight on the REBNY dais and honorees, and a dynamic networking portion. Chefs Daniel Boulud of the Dinex Group and Michael Anthony of Gramercy Tavern will both curate different courses for the dinner. Chef Boulud, as well as Chefs Chris Stark of Hill Country and JJ Johnson of Fieldtrip will all play a role in curating different culinary delights for the cocktail reception.

“We are extremely proud to feature some of the City’s most decorated chefs as part of our celebration of individuals who make tremendous impacts on New York,” said REBNY President James Whelan. “Elevating the tastes of our City during this seated dinner will be a highlight of the night.”

“The real estate and hospitality industries are critical to what makes New York City such a great place to live, work and visit,” said Boulud. “I’m excited to once again join REBNY for this memorable celebration of the City we all love.”

“I look forward to joining my peers in showcasing some of the best tastes of New York during a night to celebrate the enduring growth of New York,” added Anthony.

“I am excited to participate in the culinary experience for REBNY again and to bring the great melting pot of NYC to this annual event which will be exposed to some of the biggest developers in the country,” said Johnson.

“Dedicated professionals in hospitality and real estate are essential to what makes New York City tick,” noted Stark. “In featuring the highest recognitions for the real estate industry and some of New York’s most respected chefs, the REBNY annual event will be a night to remember.”

Coming up on its 127th iteration, REBNY’s annual event brings together industry leaders and public officials for a night of celebration, unmatched networking, live entertainment and a world-class culinary and mixology experience. Annual REBNY recognitions presented during the dinner include the Louis Smadbeck Memorial Broker Recognition Award and the Bernard H. Mendik Lifetime Leadership in Real Estate Award.

A portion of event proceeds will go to the REBNY Foundation, which is helping to increase diversity and inclusion in the real estate industry through ongoing initiatives such as the REBNY Fellows Leadership Program in partnership with Coro New York and REBNY’s Internship Program in partnership with Project Destined and the City University of New York (CUNY). The REBNY Foundation also supports Building Skills NY, a nonprofit construction workforce development organization that connects underemployed New Yorkers with jobs and training to create new career pathways into the construction industry.

REBNY will make additional announcements in the coming weeks about event honorees and mixologists who will be participating in this year’s festivities.
